Transportation is one of the essential requirements for people and to be able to travel with ease and comfort is what we all expect. But some of our fellow humans are either born with or accidentally acquire specific disabilities that pose severe movement restrictions for them. Care Above All is committed to lending them a helping hand and focusing on their independent participation in community activities. Our transport service is established on the NDIS transport assistance guidelines and works towards helping individuals with a disability to access the community.

How does it work?

Our trained support workers are equipped to help the NDIS participants with transport assistance. Keeping up with the NDIS transport assistance program, the support workers in Care Above All not only assist in making the transport convenient but also provide training for disabled individuals on how to use the available public transport effectively for a comfortable journey.

We also guide disabled individuals and their families on the registration for NDIS and develop a unique plan for the participant based on the level of restriction. It is under this plan that funding is provided for NDIS transport service for those with movement disabilities.

Our support workers can effectively guide you on the relevant subsidy scheme that the government offers to support the independent movements of disabled individuals. The idea for transport support is guided by the fact that most of the time people with disability fail to connect or gel with the community and take part in community activities due to their restricted movements. To promote independent movements and support disabled individuals who are travelling either for work, study, medical appointments, or simply to enhance their community access, the NDIS transport service funds them accordingly.
